Starfield is mere days away from launch now, and to kick the hype surrounding the space-faring RPG into overdrive, Bethesda and Microsoft brought a new look at the game to kick off Gamescom Opening Night Live. Along with a live performance by Starfield composer Inon Zur, a cinematic live action trailer was shown off, offering a glimpse at some of the many, many adventures you’ll be heading on in its vast expanses of space.
Meanwhile, Starfield director and the face of Bethesda Game Studios, Todd Howard also took the stage to talk about the game, and also showcased a few more glimpses of gameplay footage, before going on to briefly talk about the main story, which will see players joining up with Constellation, a group of space explorers.
Starfield launches on September 6 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, and will become available in early access on September 1 for Premium Edition owners.
