Destiny 2 - The Final Shape_08

Prismatic is one of the best new additions in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, allowing you to mix and match different abilities, Supers, Aspects and Fragments into one powerful subclass. However, you need to find the different Prismatic Fragments to unlock them. There are 15 in total – here’s where to get them all.

All Prismatic Fragments and Their Locations

Facet of Justice

Located in The Refraction on Patrol, right smack dab in the centre of a room with three Hive symbols ahead. Go upstairs and grab the Solar Crystal. Look towards the chest, and you’ll see 10 Hive symbols on the walls. You must slot the Crystal into the correct places matching the previous three. The symbols above the places disappear upon jumping down, so take a screenshot to remember their locations. Defeat the spawning enemies to claim the chest.

Facet of Bravery

In the campaign mission Ascent, when you happen upon a plane sliced in two, go inside the upper part, take a right and then descend to the lower section for the chest.

Facet of Balance

In the campaign mission, Iconoclasm, defeat the Tormentor boss at the start to spawn the chest.

Facet of Devotion

This can be missed if you’re not careful. After defeating the boss in Pillar of Devotion, the pathways leading out will crumble. Look for the middle path and take it to the very back for the chest. The nearby floor can crumble, though, so be careful.

Facet of Grace

In the Lost City (aka the old Tower), go left from Micah-10’s terminal down until you reach the exit. Go left and straight, crossing the platforms, and enter the first door on the left into the building to kill a Gordian Weaver. Backtrack all the way and this time, go right till the end to find a second Gordian Weaver to kill. Go back to the start again and travel diagonally right from the exit. Go straight all the way and then take a right to find a third Gordian Weaver. Now return to the start again and use Prismatic to defeat the three Omens to get the chest.

Facet of Solitude

Get the Memory: Impassive Darkness through the same method as above. Go to the Impasse and look for a white circle on your map – this is the area to explore to find the chest. Go to the very northeast part of the structure to find it on a ledge.

Facet of Mending

Find four Ghosts in the Lost City. You can find one in the Outskirts near an arch. From there, go straight till you see a Shrieker. Go right until you see a staircase and some boxes at the bottom. Check them for the second. Cross the platforms near the Shrieker and go through the door with red stripes above it.

Pass through and go right until you see an exit. The third ghost is on a grassy awning above. Finally, head outside and travel left until you reach an orange structure. Check the circular part for the fourth Ghost. Check the four Ghost symbols on your map and defeat the Dread for the chest. If you ever get confused about their locations, pull out your Ghost – he’ll point in the direction of the others.

Facet of Defiance

From the Impasse, travel towards the Transgression. Upon entering the region, go towards the left-hand side and head into the cave (grab the Shielded From Darkness buff first from the Root of Nightmares-style seeds). Keep going until you find a shard and activate it, then go around shooting eyes. Once done, head back to the shard for the next challenge, which involves defeating a Tormentor. Get the Transgressive Prismatic Key and then open the chest for the Fragment.

Facet of Sacrifice

When you’re inside the Sacracrium in Iconoclasm and find a strange Cabal War Beast statue, take a left to the proceeding room. Upon entering, look to the right to see a small ledge above. Jump, crouch and follow it all the way, going straight, left, dropping down, then right to find the chest.

Facet of Command

Go to the Divide in the Impasse. From the chest, look for a window and a machine that grants a Scorch Cannon. There are two other machines behind you – use the Scorch Cannon to destroy the ice blocks on them and deposit Arc Charges. Use the cannon on the other ice blocks outside the room, which involves some exploration, and insert the charges into the machines. After doing that, defeat the enemies to get a Divided Prismatic Key, return to the chest and claim the Facet.

Facet of Awakening

Mend enough chests to get the Memory: Refractions of Light and go to Refraction to open the chest. It’s on top of a tree branch in the central area.

Facet of Generosity

Mend chests in the Pale Heart until you get the Memory: Blooming of Light. Head to the Blooming and climb up the silver tree in the middle (the same one that Ikora looks at when you find her in the campaign), and check around the roots to find the chest.

Facet of Honor

Located in the Divide, but first, you need to gather Darkness consumables from chests that need Mending throughout the Pale Heart. Go through the Cosmodrome all the way through until you reach a snowy area. Keep going up, past the plane from the Ascent. Once you arrive at the structure that usually leads to the mission’s boss fight, look down to the left from above to see the chest.

Facet of Blessing

Appears in the campaign mission Dissent after opening the Lower Temple door.

Facet of Dominance

Mend chests to get the Memory: Seclusions of Light and go to the Seclusion. Look for a waterfall with a hill nearby and climb the rocks to find the chest. There should be a broken tree that leads up to it.
