Gfk has released its UK physical charts for the week ending October 28th (via Games Industry), and as noted earlier, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is in first, while Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is in second. EA Sports FC 24 remained in third place despite stiff competition, and Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 debuted fourth.
Among the other new titles for the week is EA Sports UFC 5, which launched worldwide before the weekend. It debuted in seventh, below EA Sports UFC 4 and its chart-topping debut in August 2020. Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures and Just Dance 2024 debuted this week but failed to make the top ten.
Other noteworthy titles include Assassin’s Creed Mirage in fifth place, even with sales dropping by 25 percent. Sonic Superstars plummeted from fourth to 15th place due to a 72 percent sales drop, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fell to 17th place, even as sales increased by nine percent.
