Now, the Japanese box art for the game has been released and it has been designed by the series’ character designer Yuji Himukai.

Etrian Odyssey X will be the final game in the series to launch on the Nintendo 3DS. The game will be set in the island of Lemuria and the floating city of Maginia. The new Hero class will be introduced in this game and they also appear on the newly released box art. The Hero class will possess some unique abilities and skills such as the ability to leave an after-image after an attack which can then be used as a decoy. This skill can also be used in conjunction with other skills.
