Etrian Odyssey X

It was only recently announced that Atlus would be releasing Etrian Odyssey X on the 3DS and it will be the last game from the series to release on this platform. Now, Atlus has released a whole bunch of new screenshots which showcase more of thew new class called Hero along with some of the game’s various NPCs.

Some of the new NPCs we get to see are Leo, Caris, Rob, Marco, Brigitta, and Oliver. We also get to see a bit of one of the dungeons in the game in some screenshots.

First off, we get to learn more details about the new Hero class. His force boost is called Braveheart, his skill is known as Resistance Brave and his force break is Miracle Edge. One of the screenshots also offer a glimpse of the novice skill tree. One of the unique things about a Hero is that they leave an after-image when they attack which lasts for a turn. This acts as a decoy and can also be used in tandem with some skills.

You can check out all of the screenshots below. Etrian Odyssey X is set to release exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS on August 2 in Japan. As of now, a Western release hasn’t been announced.
