It’s not enough that Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 16 received a launch trailer and the recent “Ascension” trailer to hype its release. There’s also a live-action trailer, “Requiem,” which sees Clive wandering through Valisthea and being accompanied by epic music wherever he goes. Check it out below.

Eventually, he has to go up against Ifrit, the Dark Eikon within him, which could tease an occurrence in the story. Along with the Infernal Eikon, Clive also battles the likes of Titan Lost, Garuda and many more. Each Eikon battle is unique – in one fight, you could be engaged in a shoot ’em up, while the next battle is an impromptu wrestling match.

Final Fantasy 16 launches on June 22nd for PS5. A demo is available to download via the PlayStation Store and features over two hours of gameplay from the Prologue. For those craving more combat with the Eikonic abilities, you can access a unique battle after finishing the demo set in one of the darker places in-game.
