Microsoft Studios head Phil Spencer took the stage at the Xbox Reveal event to announce Forza Motorsport 5 for the Xbox One, which will be a launch title for the platform.

The game was showcased, and showcased even more amazing visuals than ever. Of course, while Turn 10 Studios will be pushing the boundaries and aim to show the various dents that cars will suffer, along with the “effects of time” on the vehicles. We’re assuming this means wear and tear.

There was also talk about “Cloud-powered games”, which we assume will mean playing the game via Cloud gaming.

Forza Motorsport 5 may be a sequel in Microsoft’s successful racing simulator series, but it is only one of the 15 titles that will release in the first year of the Xbox One. Stay tuned for more details. Meanwhile, let us know what you think about Forza Motorsport 5. Obligatory question: Does it look better than Gran Turismo 6?
