Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising

Earlier this year, Cygames and Arc System Works announced Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, promising a number of upgrades with the follow-up, including Ultimate Skills, new characters, a new Story Mode, and more. Now, a release date for the title has also been confirmed, and it’s not too far away from launch.

Cygames and Arc System Works have announced that Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising will launch on November 30. Pre-orders are available now, with a Standard Edition being available for $49.99 and a Deluxe Edition for $74.99. On top of the base game itself, the latter also includes 72 hours of early access, the premium Vikala (Yin) avatar, six DLC characters, and four colour variants and three weapon skins for all base and DLC characters.

Meanwhile, a free version of the game will also be available and provide a limited experience for those who want a taste of the game’s offerings before taking the full plunge. Certain modes and features won’t be available, but players will have access to limited characters, early sections of the Story Mode, online matches, and lobbies.

Cygames has also announced that prior to its launch in November, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising will also get a second open beta sometime in the Fall. Unlike the first beta, which was only available on PlayStation consoles, the second one will also be available on PC. It will include lobby matches, crossplay, and Grand Bruise Legends, and offer a taste of several gameplay adjustments.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising will be available on PS5, PS4, and PC. New details on the game will be arriving on September 16, so stay tuned.
