Along with releasing a story trailer for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Cygames revealed its post-launch roadmap for the fighter during Granblue Showcase: Part 2. Lucilius is the first DLC fighter in mid-January 2024, followed by another addition to the roster in late February.
From January to February 2024, a new stage, in-game features, and an update to the online lobby will go live. April 2024 sees a third new character debut, followed by the fourth in May, the fifth in Summer and the sixth in Fall as part of Character Pass Part 1. April onwards will see new modes for Grand Bruise Legends, a new lobby mini-game, bonus story and new game mode, though all dates are subject to change.
A new outfit for Narmaya, “Black Butterfly”, is coming soon as a Battle Pass reward after launch. The team is working on several costumes for many characters, per creative director Tetsuya Fukuhara, so stay tuned for more updates.
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is out on December 14th for PS4, PS5 and PC.
