Horizon: Zero Dawn’s The Frozen Lands Could Be Based On Yellowstone

Aloy's odyssey to Ban-Ur?

Posted By | On 04th, Jul. 2017

Horizon: Zero Dawn will be getting its very first expansion, The Frozen Lands, later this year. So far, we know nothing about it more than the trailer that Sony debuted at E3 last month. However, after carefully analyzing the trailer, GamesRadar seems to have come to the conclusion that the expansion might be based in a region based on Yellowstone.

The region has been referenced in the game itself before as Ban-Ur, but it was never actually visited by Aloy in the game. It will be interesting to see what kinds of dangers and threats she finds in the new region once she visits there (although GamesRadar thinks it might be a robotic gorilla… bear?)

Horizon: Zero Dawn is out now and available on PlayStation 4 exclusively. If you have not already, do make sure to play the game- it’s great, and we at GamingBolt loved it, awarding it a rare 10/10 rating when it first came out.
