The coming weeks will be bringing a number of major gaming events, with Summer Game Fest being one of the bigger ones in that group, and as the showcase’s date approaches, more details are continuing to filter through on what we can expect from it by way of announcements and updates.
The latest game to have been confirmed for Summer Game Fest is Metaphor: ReFantazio, Atlus’ upcoming highly anticipated fantasy RPG. Taking to Twitter via its official account. SGF confirmed that game director Katsura Hashino and character designer Shigenori Soejima will take to the stage during the live event and provide new details on the long-in-development RPG.
Summer Game Fest is set for June 7, with Atlus’ own festival, Atlus Fes, following on June 8 and 9. Summer Game Fest will feature game announcements from a number of partner studios and publishers. One of those is 2K, which has confirmed that it will be unveiling the next instalments in one of its most beloved franchises at Summer Game Fest.
Metaphor: ReFantazio launches on October 11 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC.
