Nearly a month after launch, NetherRealm Studios has released its first major patch for Mortal Kombat 1 on the Nintendo Switch. It’s not too heavy on details, but there are improvements to the visuals, performance and loading times, and stability, localization and leaderboard fixes.

Players can also expect gameplay balance changes and general bug fixes, but the other big news is that Season 1 of Invasions is finally available. At launch, only the intro of Invasions was available in the Nintendo Switch version. It’s finally here, with enough time to earn all those limited-time cosmetics.

Check out the full patch notes below. Mortal Kombat 1 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. You can check out our review here. Despite receiving positive reviews, the fighting game has seen issues, like the Player 1 advantage that’s thankfully patched. Stay tuned for more details on subsequent updates in the meantime.
