With The Boys’ Homelander recently having joined its roster, Mortal Kombat 1 has just one more DLC character left to add for its current Kombat Pack, with Takeda Takahashi set to arrive sometime this summer. Currently, plans have yet to be officially announced on what we can expect from the game’s next Kombat Pack, but details on upcoming DLC characters may have emerged through a datamining leak nonetheless.

Spotted by dataminer Interloko (and caught by IGN), files found in the game point to upcoming new content that has yet to be announced, including five new announcers, two new arenas, and six new characters for the roster. That includes three returning series mainstays in the form of Noob Saibot, Sektor, and Cyrax, as well as three guest characters from other IP, those being the T-1000 from Terminator, Ghostface from Scream, and Conan the Barbarian.

Interestingly, several of these characters have been mentioned in past leaks and rumours as well, so this isn’t the first we’re hearing about their potential addition to the game’s roster of fighters. Of course, it remains to be seen which Kameo fighters will be accompanying them, or when these additions will be announced- assuming, of course, that the datamining leak is indeed accurate.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. NetherRealm Studios’ post-launch plans for the game also include a paid story expansion, among other things. Read more on that through here.
