Palworld

Pocketpair’s survival crafting title Palworld will release on PC in January 2024 via Steam Early Access. Often dubbed “Pokemon with guns,” the title sees the player working with Pals to fend off poachers. A noble endeavor when you’re not selling or eating them for your survival.

Palworld offers all the tropes of a survival crafting experience, from constructing massive buildings (which your Pals will take care of) to farming (allowing certain Pals to be planted and thus copied). There are plenty of traversal options, like swimming or flying. Again, all handled by your Pals.

You can also breed Pals, catch endangered Pals for money (which sounds as bad as the poachers because it is) and even venture into dungeons. Palworld also has multiplayer with the ability to play alongside, trade and even battle others. It’s also coming to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, but there are no updates on those releases. Stay tuned in the meantime.
