PS Vita Getting Silent Hill: Origins and Shattered Memories

Digital re-releases.

Konami has announced that the PSP Silent Hill games Origins and Shattered Memories are both heading to the PS Vita in the form of digital re-releases. Both the survival horror games will cost £7.99 each, but Konami haven’t yet announced any specific date for the release of them both.

Shattered Memories and Origins have a special place in the hearts of all Silent Hill fans, but for different reasons. Origins is not as good as you’d want a Silent Hill game to be, but it’s a prequel to the very first Silent Hill title, so obviously it’s important. Shattered Memories, on the other hand, is just recognised for being a great game and one of the best in the series.

“Flaws aside, the game is an intense few hours to play all the same, and as long as you don’t expect the game to compete with the second or third Silent Hill games, you’ll enjoy yourself a fair amount,” we wrote in our review of the Wii version of the game. You can read our review here.
