A new gameplay trailer for Dee Dee Creations’ Squirrel with a Gun went live during the Future Games Show @ Gamescom stream, complete with an epic trailer voice. It also confirms a release date of August 29th for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with console versions arriving this Fall. Check it out below.

Focused on the titular squirrel, players rampage through an urban sandbox after escaping a secret facility. While they must evade the Agents seeking their recapture, an impressive arsenal of weapons, from sniper rifles to rocket launchers, is available. Of course, there are also acorns to collect, with puzzle rooms providing golden acorns as rewards.

If that weren’t enough, you can roam the neighborhood in a small vehicle, take on quests from various residents and more. Aside from PC, Squirrel with a Gun is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out our interview with the developer here.
