Until Dawn DLC Requires “The Right Context”, Hasn’t Been Ruled Out

Supermassive is interested in DLC but under the right circumstances.

Until Dawn PS4 10

Supermassive’s Until Dawn has been a fairly strong success for Sony, even though the publisher didn’t do much to market it. There’s talk of a sequel but is it possible that the cinematic horror title receives DLC instead?

According to executive producer Pete Samuels in an interview with PlayStation LifeStyle, it would depend on the right context. “The underlying ‘truths’ in the story are pretty sacred. If an expansion of any kind required us to change a truth then we wouldn’t be happy doing it.

“We get asked a lot for a happy-ending for one character in particular. We can’t see how that could work without breaking some important truths. I’m not ruling out DLC, we just haven’t yet found the right context for it.”

So while it could happen, don’t expect to see it immediately, especially because Supermassive doesn’t want to muck around with its established mythos. What would you like to see in DLC for Until Dawn? Let us know in the comments.
