A new trailer for miHoYo Games’ Zenless Zone Zero debuted at The Game Awards, confirming a 2024 release for the free-to-play action RPG. Check it out below, featuring the various playable characters in action.

The story takes place in the future, where civilization has been annihilated by the “Hollows.” As Proxies, players enlist Agents in New Eridu for various tasks. They embark into zones for different missions, with combat being real-time hack-and-slash. A closed beta is currently underway, featuring the characters from Gentle House (aka the Cunning Hares), Victoria Housekeeping and Belobog Heavy Industries, but there are more to come in the full game.

Zenless Zone Zero will be available “soon” next year for iOS, Android, PC and consoles (though platforms haven’t been specified). An end date for the closed beta hasn’t been announced, so stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. Check out the latest character demo trailer, focusing on Nicole, the leader of Gentle House.
