miHoYo Games’ Zenless Zone Zero is preparing to deploy its first major post-launch update with Version 1.1, “Undercover R&B.” A Special Program livestream takes place on August 3rd, during which the development team and “special host” will outline the new content.

Based on Agent Record teases shortly after launch, Qingyi and Seth Lowell from the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team could be added as new characters. There’s also the mysterious Jane Doe, who seems to be an assassin from an unknown faction. Little else is known, but the latter could be the next limited five-star character. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.

Zenless Zone Zero is available for iOS, Android, PC, and PS5 (where it’s a console exclusive until at least January 2025). It crossed 50 million downloads just a few days after launch. Check out our review here, where we gave it an eight out of 10 for the combat, presentation, and plot.
